I love Berserk but the anticipation is killing me where the series is right now and they need to get to the ISLAND!!!! I want to see this series through to the end. At this rate it will end up like Guyver and just go on forever....

Three chapters? IN A ROW? I don't believe it.

The sad thing is, Berserk will never end. He will die before it ends

ALOT between the three Xbox versions, updated PS3 version, the iM@S 1 ports to the PSP (three of them) and the DS version. And, a new pachinko style game is coming out soon, too.

If I was more fluent in Japanese and didn't need to keep referencing faqs and wikis every other minute, Idolm@ster would consume all my gaming time.

At least we all can agree that a consecutive release by Miura is a good thing. That and the TV Series is a strong enough adaptation to take fans minds off that Montage Crap being marketed as a film.

I am fairly certain that at some point in his past Miura traded a number of his loved ones in for immortality. At least, I hope he did, because if not he needs to speed up his pace. I don't want to have bought that many volumes of an uncompleted manga.

That said, 3 chapters are awesome, and I might try to buy Young Animal those weeks, weird looks from cashiers aside. But is anyone else not somewhat irked by the fact that they're prequel chapters?? I hope they have vital information that will be relevant to the ongoing plot, or else he's just stalling for time for some reason.

I mean, I get that each arc since the Eclipse has been in two parts: first, Guts defeats some magical creature(s) that escaped because of the boundaries of reality breaking down. In Arc 2 it was spoiler[the Elf Queen], in Arc 3 it was spoiler[the trolls], and now it's spoiler[the sea god]. After that, you move on to what's the real plot-moving part, be it spoiler[Griffith's resurrection], spoiler[the Kushan invasion and what Griffith accomplishes in it], or whatever is coming next, spoiler[presumably Elfheim].

And even the slow pace might be bearable if it were regular. One chapter every two months, Miura, it would be about the same pace you're keeping now, but at least we'd know another chapter was coming!!

Wow... Next time in Berserk
Casca plowing the field
Griffith with freinds running around the castle
Charlotte playing with dolls
Count is having a nice time with family

Seriously I mean, move on! Am I the only person who thinks that Muira is getting out of the steam? Why did he abandon Gryffith's Important Matters that Everyone Wants To See in favor of I've Seen Pirates of the Caribbean! Maybe... terrible idea... lack of the ideas
Did he mention that Guin Saga was among his main inspirations?

I just started reading the manga (rented 1-5 at Tsutaya), and I was very confused when one of the Big Bad's name was Griffith... cause, huh? I thought he was the guy with the white hair who was Guts' friend...

...and then suddenly the story goes into flashback mode.

Does it go back and forth or something?

During volume 3 it goes in to the flashback arc (which covers Vol. 3-13). But it doesn't jump back and forth. It shows how Guts meets Griffith, joins the Hawks, and eventually spoiler[how Griffith turns bad.] After that point it goes back to the "present", where we left off before the flashback.

bit still my aching nutbladder. At this point im just happy to see it come back, he can take his time as long as he keeps chugging along so i am a little irked about flashback material but im sure i'll enjoy it regardless.
