I though Kohei Tanaka's score for this game was great, but a B+ is nothing to cry about.

I'm just excited to see a decent game on the vita that isn't a port of another systems game.

I love this game! I got it as well as Touch My Katamari to hold me until Hatsune Miku Project Diva F comes out in 4 or so weeks. Great review! Currently I'm on the lava level (I think), and it's kicking my ass... so frustrating, but fun. Somehow when she hits the molten rock, when she's all HOT HOT HOT it amuses me. lol. I'm happy I picked it up (well PS Store downloaded). It and TmK are good differing games to hold my entertainment. PS VITA FTW!

Also, the white Vita is the best Vita. Razz Imported Vita FTW!

This game was more than just "decent"

Granted, the camera can have some serious problems at times , and combat isn't nearly as advanced as other 3rd person action games.

My thinking for this, is that the game made me feel like I was Kat. The more I played, the more I managed to keep the camera under control. I felt like I was gaining my own ability to keep the camera working 'right'.

By the end game I was only losing control of the camera if I made a bad decision (as if gravity really was affecting me).

But the game itself was amazing. I could not put it down until I had obtained every trophy, and completed everything there was to do.

Bring me a sequel, I say!

(and I'm definitely getting the soundtrack)

The music reminded me of valkyria chronicles.

I'm really enjoying the game. I'm not having near the problems with combat that the reviewer did.

Though I did spend about 2 hours trying to defeat one boss, zooming around him, when it finally dawned on me that you just stand on the ground in front of him to fight him, and it was over in like a minute. Felt like a moron.

Other than that, couldn't give it higher recommendations. It's not quite a system seller, but if you already own a vita, there's absolutely no reason not to own it.

It reminds me a lot of infamous.

LOVED THIS GAME. I thought the combat was just fine for this game, it is more about discovering then fighting, and that part of the game (discovery) is done beautifully. B+ is decent, i cannot complain, still think this game is a real gem of the year. A very unique game Smile. Next game i cannot wait for is ragnarok odyssey!

Got the game day one pre-ordered, and the two DLC packs that just released, waiting patiently for the third, incredible game Very Happy

This easily beat out the Uncharted: GA game and I'm more of an Uncharted fan than anything else.

Bring Kat to Playstation All-Stars (you know, the fighting game thats gonna hit the PS3 soon) and they'll be a day one purchase for me as well, or a day-OF purchase should they DLC her in the future since she isn't exactly established as the Vita's Poster child yet like Nathan Drake is for the PS3.

All in all, worth every penny, while most wont consider it a "system seller" (even though I personally do Anime hyper) like The Uncharted series or Metal Gear Solid 4 (it was for me this game in particular) then it should be Razz

If this game truly is in fact Gravity Rush: Episode 1, then bring on parts 2 and 3, I'm ready to throw money at my computer monitor for the pre-order Very Happy

Hint: One great way to "fix" the camera on the tricky corridor sections where enemies seem to not get along with small spaces like that:

Stand up, yes that's right, play the game standing up and abuse the gyroscope, the controls for the game ARE in fact really good if you let yourself break free from the comfort of your chair since that's what we're all so accustomed to.

Stand up and actually MOVE the system around you in big circles to re-position your next Gravity Kick, you'll thank me later Very Happy
