FFVII is being re-released? Because I'm pretty sure that box on my shelf for computer games says FFVII on it already, and that was bought a number of years ago.

Yes, FFVII and FFVIII were ported to the PC by Eidos back in the day.

Interestingly, FFVII PC had an updated translation than the PSX version. Mistakes such as, "This guy are sick.", were fixed in the PC version.

That's right, it's being re-released as a download with online features, at least in Europe.

This Final Fantasy should be renamed Initial/Endless Fantasy because it simply never ends.

It is kind of funny that FF7 for PC is being re-released, given that Square Enix now owns the people who did the original port. Razz

Mecha/Robot games sell quite badly outside Japan. And Inazuma's case was more the anime bringing the game than vice versa*.

* Which would be hardly the case with DB Senki since Mecha/Robot anime...

And added compatibility for XP, Vista and 7. Plus I guess somehow they could upgrade the graphics to fully utilize your video card?

Oh yeah, I don't know if it's the same in FF7 but the sounds in FF8 PC version sucks big time. I hope they fixed that.
