The first thought that comes to mind is "Will the new Sailor Moon make it there?". It was the WB that aired the first one, wasn't it?

Wonder what will happen with Power Rangers on Nick and Nicktoons? Viacom owns those networks, while CBS is co-owner of the CW--and those two companies are rivals (to put it mildly). Can't see PR being on three networks...

New sailor moon? I say we dig up that old Saban gem of a demo clip and go at it full force. Laughing

But really...if CW wants to air some classic Sailor Moon dubs, I'd definitely set my DVR.

Yup, back in 1995 at 6:30 AM on Weekdays over here (with Dragon Ball Z replacing it a year later).

Good times! Cool

Simple, it can be like Dragon Ball Z Kai where Nick gets to air the new episodes first while CW gets to air them sometime afterwards.

The only thing to wonder is if there will be any edits made for the CW broadcast.

Toei has been a collective bunch of stingy jerks when it comes to licensing out the SM franchise in America, so I doubt it'll happen. I wish it would happen, and I'd keel over in happiness if it happened, since it was one of the first anime series I saw as a child, but if FUNimation can't get the rights, Saban (with it's reputation for bowdlerizing things) certainly couldn't.

It's already edited for Nickelodeon, but yes, I imagine CW would edit it even more if Kai was any indicator.

give mention of yu-gi-oh! series (wonder finish GX & 5d dubs give both still incomplete).

yet also return of Power Rangers series on regular tv give wonder over 700+ plus i would not be shock if plan show all of it again.

I don't believe Dragon Ball Z Kai ever aired on Nick, but it aired on Nicktoons and the CW via a deal with Funimation.

Apparently the only thing holding the original Sailor Moon anime from being re-licensed in the US is the licensing fee. It's been re-licensed all over the world. And it was confirmed at the announcement that Sailor Moon will be released simultaneously around the world, so I'm pretty sure the new anime will make it over here.

I'd personally rather it be on Nick or Cartoon Network than this, although I wouldn't mind it being on Vortexx in addition to CN or Nick.

I wonder if the reason they have two X's in the name is because of the "Vortex" block that used to be on Canada's YTV.

adding two more x's would've made it more "xtreme."
