Agreed, though this one...is creepy. Do Otaku really need to obsess over seiyuu more than they already do? Sometimes I pity seiyuu, with all the creepy fanboys they have to deal with.

True, but they are user generated polls.

Those at least are a semi-mainstream fantasy that otaku might have, which celebrity would you go out with? I wasn't aware that there was a subset of people who picked celebrities they would most prefer to have as siblings.

At least this poll didn't make me feel old, several of the older "sisters" actually are older than me.

It might help a bit if you understood some extent of how Japanese pop culture creates sibling fantasies -- elder siblings are like 'senpai' figures who take care of the younger one and advise them on life, younger siblings are the 'kid' ones whom you pet and take care of.

I was just about to say that I wanted her as my big sister. Mikoto (To Aru Majutsu no Index), Preza (Tales of Xillia), Lillia (Mana Khemia)... I think she could be a really nice big sister. I'd love to be her little sister.

Ah, so she has been doing work in video games then? I was wondering why she hasn't been doing much voice work in anime lately when she's a really darn good seiyuu. Check out Minami-ke if you haven't yet. She really makes an awesome big sister Very Happy
