Market it as "House-But even more badass!" ("he doesn't even *care* about a license!") and I can see it becoming a hit. They just have to get BJ's characterization right and make Pinoko a little more mature/modern (plus, drop the "wife or daughter?" angle, please!) if they choose to include her.
Quite a few BJ stories would work well in a serialized tv format. His tragic bomb survivor backstory, his relationship with his father, his rivalry with Kiriko, and the girl who got away-his potential lover from med school. Tons of material there; just don't screw it up with a bad make up job or wooden acting! |
