Glad to see it get license rescued(for the 2nd time). Hopefully now I'll be able to afford a complete series set that isn't over $100.
Seeing this makes me hope since they're going after old Geneon stuff, that they'll eventually license rescue Higurashi too. Especially since Funimation has said they won't ever go back to that series. |

I know the headline is about Fate/stay night, but I'm much more excited about a little tidbit they threw in at the end - SAIYUKI GAIDEN! I'm all over that.

well,this news has now officially screwed any chances for me of seeing the series in english dub since they have a rep for going sub only for some series. At least i still have the geneon version of stay night as well as the new movie, but unless a miracle happens and they decide to include an english dub, i'm probably gonna skip type zero. though if they deicde to make an anime series on Hollow Ataraxia,i may consider getting that series even if it dont get a dub.
Ah one problem. ADV never did the dub for Stay Night. it was Bang Zoom that did the dub for Stay Night when Geneon was still around. Though it wasnt perfect,it was decent enough, however everyone from both dub and sub outtakes liked Liam O Biren's role as Archer. and luckily they allowed the bang zoom cast to retake their roles for the movie ( except for kate higgins who was replaced by michelle ruff as Saber. Don't know why. ) If by a small miracle that sentai does allow a dub for type zero [b] But i have serious doubts about that ) i hope they would take the advice for some fans and have the bang zoom cast return. They usually dub anime that have BD releases, so I'd think it would be dubbed. I want to see this, so I'm glad it's been licensed and that it will probably start steaming. |

How is that Sentai ALWAYS seems to license a series that I just finished get the last of the collection. I'll still be getting this though =D

When they're trying to get all the stuff related to the series, it makes sense. Plus the previous releases that are OOP are pretty expensive. So it wouldn't hurt, since it gives people that missed out on previous releases to get it without paying too much.
I think you misread the story, it's mentioning that they license rescued Fate/Stay Night. It's not mentioning anything about them licensing Fate/Zero, which Aniplex has the license to. |

I thought this was a sub-license of the import season that Aniplex licensed and was gonna be pretty impressed, haha.
Glad to hear news about P4A's second half as well. I was hoping it would be out in December for Christmas, but I want to say I heard somewhere that dub companies generally have to wait 6 months after the japanese disk release? I could be entirely wrong though. |

Did you actually read her post and the post she was replying to? That's not what they was talking about.
