Thank god they aren't using Beautiful World again. I like the song and all, but it's definitely overused.
I guess it makes sense. Still makes me a little sad. |

I enjoyed Utada's take on Fly Me to the Moon, so I'll be looking forward to hearing the ending theme at the end of the third film.

i was expecting another remix of Beautiful World. Would have been interesting, though I expect this song to suit the ending of the new film. Sort of sad/melancholic. Maybe they are bumping a character off? Am i reading into this too much?

probably are reading into it too much heh. I would guess they just wanted to change it up some. Plus Utada is very popular, one of the j-pop Queens really, so I think it's a good choice over all. Then again I happen to like her myself so I'd be happy anytime she is used for an anime opening or closing. |

No surprise there. They only do new theme music for the main platform games i.e. KH 1 and 2 and since there hasn't been a main platform game since 2006 they will continue to recycle Simple and Clean. I almost wish they would get a move on and do KH 3 already just so we can get another Utada song since it's pretty obvious she'll record new stuff even during a hiatus if it's for a big franchise like she's just done for Eva. |

The song is somewhat sad, which makes me think that the ending of 3.0 won't be very positive either.
Also, those who want to see 6 minutes of eyepatch Asuka in space, they're already on Youtube. Looked very pretty. |

Currently watching the first seven minutes of 3.0. Mari calling Asuka 'Your Majesty' made me very happy. Watching these two play off each other is going to be fantastic.
