Heh, now whenever I hear of Avril Lavigne and Japan, I think of Sony Japan's video promos for its "Extra Bass" headphones, featuring teen J-girls from every prefecture dancing outdoors while wearing the headphones, like these (each self-introduces herself then tells something about her prefecture, and yes, they're dancing to an Avril Lavigne song):
If ya guys ever wanna see how regular J-birds dance outside of idol stages................

Oddly, How You Remind Me cover sounds a lot better than the original, and actually kinda fits the second part of the trailer...

It looks like we're gonna see spoiler[ Garp, Aokiji, and Kizaru post time skip already. They haven't even shown up in the manga.] Can't wait.

The second song dosn't acctually sound all that bad, still a fairly generic song by our standards sure, but I like it a hella lot more than 'bad reputation'.
Songs aside this movie is looking to be more increasingly awesome, it looks like it'll be a blast to acctually see. |

Honestly, compared to the Strong World trailer, I don't get the impression that Film Z is the bigger and grander movie. The presentation does seem top-notch though, and we do see some hints of the Marines being very involved in the plot.
I'm trying to figure out what the power of Z's subordinate is (she hit Nami with it). My leading theory is that she can make people younger. |

It's cute sometimes how some people make a big deal over the music when:
a.) If it were the same lyrics, same beat, etc. ,but sung by a Japanese vocalist, there would be hardly any complaints. b.) the themes are only going to be played for a couple of minutes. |
