Guess this means NIS wasn't able to get it?

Tecmo took over Gust about a year ago, so it was always speculated that NISA would lose the rights to it, and it seems confirmed now. Given Tecmos history, this'll likely be a sub only digital release now.

However, NISA DID work on the translation... No one knows what's going on at this point.

Might as well. The previous titles' sales may be too low for "Techmo Koei" (that's what the headline says).

Okay sub only I can deal with, I don't really care either way;
But digital only release and you've lost me.
It's a big crisis just to get a damn song on iTunes let alone a full-scale game that I could've gotten on disc.

I'd hate if this gets Digital-Only... The space on my PS3's HDD (which is almost full) is too precious to get filled up with digital games...

Yeah, anyways, hoping this gets the same treatment as the NISA releases.

All the good Gust games are ending.. I hope this wasn't because of the takeover.. but I suspect it is. It'll be sad if things go download only. I want a physical disc and manuals... I like the extras that NIS America always did with their premium bundles. It'll be sad that this game isn't probably going to get the same treatment.

End of an era of JRPGs, I guess.

Glad its a new arc and not continuing from Arland. Fan of NISA's localizations much more than Koei's, and if its looking sub-par, I might skip it.

Yeah, if games go digital only... I can't justify paying $60 or even $40 for a digital only title... :/ Maybe $20 at most. I really prefer being able to hold and have limited editions and a game that I don't have to invest much into when I have a limited income, too.

Oh, and if it's subbed only there's not much of a chance I'll be picking it up, either... It really kills the experience for me. Hence why I no longer buy anime anymore either.

Terrible. Anime cry

I won't mind if it's Sub only.

*sighs*

I will mind if it happens to be download only.

It's all ready gotten around that Amazon has had the game listed for a physical release for almost a month now though...

In terms of the Tecmo/Koei situation, besides the fact that company owns Gust now, let me remind people that Tecmo/Koei is one of the companies that distributes the NIS America games in the United States.

Hence, one of two things may be happening here:

1. Tecmo/Koei will release the game on its own.

2. NIS America will release the game, with Tecmo/Koei handling the distribution.
