I was looking through different article, until I saw Gengoroh Tegame. Holy fudge. Its in tyime like these I'd love to live in the English parts of Canada.

I've already planned to buy the collection that will be release, but that was unexpected. We definitively needs bara manga out of Japan. <3

(I guess almost nobody knows the term ''bara'' here...)

Holy shit, we're getting Gengoroh Tagame?!

I haven't read any of the creator's works and only know them through AWO, but I'm very interested in attending a potential Tagame panel if only to sate my curiosity. After all, who knows if I'd ever get an opportunity like this again! I REALLY want to know who was involved with the arrangements.

I also look forward to having my copy of Tekkon Kinkreet signed by Taiyo Matsumoto and any potential events involving him. I wonder if anybody will unearth any copies of Blue Spring for sale during TCAF.

As "iconic" as Tagame is, and as big a deal as his growing involvement with Western fandom is, what really excites me the most about all this is that his actions could begin to pave the way for more ("younger") bara artists to join in, particularly the likes of Takeshi Matsu and Tsukasa Matsuzaki who are nowadays pretty much bara's number one "power couple" without actually being a couple lol. Hopefully this will lead to bara falling onto more Western publishers' radar, as well as opening up other mangaka's minds to the idea that non-Japanese people mightactually want to buy their works (and yes, they do).
