I don't see why they'd promote a bad announcement, so I don't think that it would be anything like that the anime is ending.

If I had to guess, it would be that they are doing a new filler arc after Greed Island and they'll show off some of the character designs or other stuff about it.

It'll be that it's going on a 3 year hiatus and then afterwards it'll air new episodes every week for 3 months before cashing in the check and calling it a year.

Although the the Hunter Exam has some censorship it seems Madhouse listens to the fans because the Yorknew City arc was pretty bloody.
Considering the Chimera Ant arc is even more violent maybe the show will have to move to a later time slot? Maybe that's the announcement. |

That's what I was thinking, the themes and content in that arc is just so much darker than anything that's come before it. -Grotesque Transformations(Menthuyoupi nuff said) -Human Slaves/Genocide, and abuse overall -Casual sex to infiltrate the enemy - Violence and gore to borderline seinen levels Even with all that, Hunter x Hunter still remains it's Shounen roots somehow. Overall I can't wait for it |

I'm expecting a time-slot change if anything. Maybe to a weekday evening instead of a weekend morning.

Its doing really good rating where it is now though, typically 3.5-4.0%... would they really move it down to a lesser timeslot? Its tough to reach those kinds of ratings during the evening for anime. |

I'm just waiting for this show to make it's way over here. It deserves a good release after the crappy dub the original anime got.
