Watching the book volumes change position (as they were checked out) with the musical accompaniment was nicely done and surprisingly sentimental. |

Well,the "Library Wars" shorts are up and seem to be popular. I wouldn't be surprised if someone in Hollywood one day tried to remake this as a movie or tv show. Stuff like "Library Wars" would perfect for an American remake because it might speak to Americans. Our Constitution has a First Amendment which defends freedom of speech for all Americans and a lot of us in this country are pretty leery of big government.
I wouldn't be surprised that if there is an American version of this that the army might be named "The First Amendment Squad" or something like that. There have been a number of court cases and things over the years about freedom of speech and free expression. "Library Wars" would be among those things. |
