Yay.... Now can we please have blu-rays for this series and index in the future. Not buying Railgun and not having Index is bugging me.

Just started watching the first season dubbed on Funi's website. I still have to finish A certain magical index. I think i'll wait until the second season is released dubbed before watching it.

As expected, but glad it's confirmed. I guess this fills out my Sunday night along with Gargantia and Doki Doki Precure.

Railgun s2 won't get to any part in Index s2. The first season barely got into s1 of Index. The Railgun manga's (which this anime is based off of) current arc is just the start of s2. Not to mention Railgun does a real good job of filling in parts that are in Index without spoiling much of Index's events.

The BDs boxsets are getting a release in Japan this Summer, so it won't be anytime soon over here. Maybe 2 years?

It was definitely expected, but I'm still disappointed that I'd have to use Funi's streaming _if_ I want to watch it legally... <sigh> ;_;

so that means the first episode has already aired?(since that time would technically be on fri 13) either that or japan has started airing programs during the dark hour
