Wait, wait, wait. They're making spin-off before the main manga? But anyway, this is a must-see for me. I love Hara's works and Kanetsugu Naoe is one of my favorite historical figures of this time. Though I hope Hana no Keiji and Ikusa no Kou will be animated later.

It's not the first time that's happened. Shura no Mon spinoff Shura no Toki was animated while the original still hasn't been.
Looking forward to this all the same.
