I proudly reserved both sets of Rose of Versailles when they became available, and now anxiously wait. I'm very excited to see the remastered episodes and booklet! Knowing Nozomi, I'm sure they've done Ikeda proud.

All we need is the manga and some Oscar figurines, and I'm set Cool

Maybe now when I cosplay as Oscar, people will actually know who I'm supposed to be! Laughing

Pre-ordered vol. 16 of We Were There waaay back in, like, Feb. Just got it in the mail today, along with Dengeki Daisy 12. Loving the latter and cannot wait to savor the former as it's the finale.

When I first met Frenchy Lunning, the editor of the scholarly anime and manga annual Mechademia, she was dressed as Oscar.

Very cool.

Those are quite interesting. I've never seen figures in that sort of style. I wonder if we'll ever see a company release some figurines here in the states? I'd also like one of Alain~

Very very cool. Her uniform is so elaborate, it can be a real challenge to make, I'm sure! Wink

Thankfully, I have long hair, so it's easy to temporarily dye blond~

Got mine yesterday. A very nice release---just the pretty box art and pencil board are worth the price, for me. The video and sound seem to be of good quality (for as good as a 70s production can look) and the subtitles, while not as in depth as the fansub I'm accustomed to, are well done. It's a release worth owning, and I cannot wait to get the second set (though those episodes, while being the highlight of the show, can be a bit of a challenge to make it through...) Sad
