Ah, so lucky for those who've seen the movie in theaters already! I can't wait for this honestly, hopefully BD comes out soon. Looks exciting.

ITT, I acknowledge the fact that I really really want to see this.

Kinda hope they do it like the Haruhi movie or whatever and have it show up randomly in San Francisco.

Would make the effort to leave the house!

The novel is to celebrate the 'expanded release'. It was only showing in a limited number of cinemas to begin with (only one in my entire city), as is the norm for most anime movies (barring the stuff popular with children like One Piece/Pokemon/Doraemon), but it's been so popular that they're adding more cinemas to screen it.
I saw it last week, now I wish I'd waited, but oh well. It was really good, anyway.

Glad to learn that a Steins;Gate movie was made after the series. I've been slowly watching the series with a friend of mine, and have only seen the first six episodes so far, but we've been really enjoying them. Hopefully, the movie will be picked up for a N.A. home release.
