So I'm assuming the shorts will come with the home release when we get one.

I wonder who will be in the K dub? I hope Johnny Yong Bosch is in it.

Accel World stuff wasn't really big news but it's nice that their getting the shorts and hopefully they can get the OVA episode as well. The announcement of full rights for K was pretty nice and it's cool the dub (and hopefully release) won't take too long to come out. I'm also curious about the dub cast though I'm now pretty certain it's the mystery show at Bang Zoom I saw a few VA's talking about recently.

Oh well. I just hope it's a good dub and not some crappy one. I watched it while it came out, so I would buy the DVDs just for that reason.

Hopefully they do a good localization dub for all the puns. I missed a bunch of KYH's terrible a puns either due to not paying attention or just not being able to understand the word play. (And it was completely lost on my friends who don't speak a lick of Japsnese...)

Overall, they weren't that great, but they make for nice "extras"! (And I really hope they do pick up the OVAs as well! Those were pretty fun Smile

It's already available on Bluray, and with a good English sub, too.

K has been on my DVD to-buy list since it aired, so I'm happy about this. =D

There's a particular part of the Anime Spotlight on K that instantly drew my interest to this show:
Regarding the girl named Neko: "A mysterious girl who appears before Shiro. She hates wearing clothes."

I'm sold!

Has Viz watched K? Viz is the company that releases nothing on dvd that is not 300 episodes long, in Shonen Jump, and specifically a SJ action/figther and even that did no save the likes of Shamn King or Mar on dvd, not to mention Hikaru no Go. Or who could forget Monster.

I can buy Accel World but K. Some of you better hope both series get released in one single boxset with all other episode otherwise might be somebody else to join monster season one all alone on the shelf.

Viz never had the Shaman King anime so I don't why your blaming them about that. Also they've released not shonen stuff before, and they've been on a pretty consistent string of releases lately so I don't see any reason for it to change suddenly for a series that's only 13 episodes and therefore low-risk cost wise.

Viz has released plently series entirely since Monster. Vampire Knight, Honey and Cover, Nana, Kekkaishi, Tiger and Bunny, Lagrange, Nura, etc. So your argument is dated.
