Excellent! Very Happy

I'll be looking forward to these. Hopefully these will sell enough that they get both series and the rest of the movies.

I've watched one of the movies and found it terribly boring. I wonder if the other ones are any good.

Love what I've seen of the TV series though~ (I hope that is picked up as well...)

It's about time this series got some form of Western release. I was hoping Funimation would dub it, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. I'm just glad to get this at all, because you can't find this series anywhere on the internet subtitled.

I'm glad this is getting an R1 DVD release, I hope these films & the Saint Seiya films will lead to a release on the TV series they're based upon.

Neat! Would've been nice to have it licensed and dubbed by Funimation, though. The Penguin Village stuff in DB was dubbed fairly well.

Does it come with some poo on a stick?

Dr. Slump is my favorite manga of all time, so this news is way way, waaaayyy way way awesome. Very Happy I would've never guessed in a million years Discotek would license anything Slump-related, but now that they have, it's an instant buy from me. Very Happy Ku pi pu pe pu pe poh!! Laughing

Awesome awesome news!

Discotek continues throwing bones to us old school anime lovers and we're loving each and every bite! Very Happy

I only hope that the original TV series for Dr. Slump is not too far off in terms of being licensed.

Hell yes! Lets hope it will sell well enough for it to eventually get an english dub release and a TV series license. I've been wanting to watch this anime for years. Hoyoyo~

It would be nice if they could get Funimation to dub this because the DB crossover episode was one of my favorites. I think I can support this though and maybe they can get the T.V. series too. Any chance we'll get stereo audio?

Speaking hypothetically, whoever said there wasn't money to be made in licensing old Anime needs to have their head examined.

Good on you Discotek.
