That wasn't the first public presentation of the actresses, though... they had pics of the 5 actresses for the "Inners", as well as all 5 of them dressed up in their costumes and wigs standing around on a stage for some sort of photo-op, up on this site by August 2nd, so the photos must have been taken sometime in July.

I'd worry more if there was going to be a live-action Tenchi series. That is the true sign of the apocalypse. It's been years since Sailor Moon finished it's run. Tenchi hasn't really left. |

Eh, I myself would only be interested in a live-action Tenchi Muyo if it were based more on the Tenchi Universe/Tenchi Muyo in Love/Tenchi Forever continuity since, to be perfectly honest, neither Ryoko or Ayeka really do it for me. I wanna see a live-action Kiyone, and Kiyone the Galaxy Police officer, not Kiyone, Tenchi's mother in the OVA continuity (not really an OVA 3 spoiler... her name always was "Kiyone", though it hasn't been spoken in either one of the original 2 OVA series, but it has been mentioned in other sources... the novels, and, I believe, at least one of the radio dramas. As we saw in the flashbacks to Tenchi's childhood, though, Tenchi's mother neither resembles Achika from the Universe continuity nor does she resemble the "real" Kiyone; it's just a different character that happens to be named after the same village in Okayama prefecture).

What's wrong with live-action magical girl shows? They have live-action everything else in Japan (even parodies like Anime Jungle's "Jun Jun Junko-chan!"). Hell, I think this would be more fun to watch than the Power Rangers, as far as monster-of-the-week shows go. Besides, with the popularity of something like the Sailor Moon Musical, I think people would be receptive to the idea of Sailor Moon TV show. Of course, you know that there will be a boatload of perverted old men watching it just for the fukus. |

There's alot worse then the live action Salior Moon. Look at the live action La Blue Girl and Angel of Darkness.

I quite agree.....I've actually seen the dvd....though I'm not stupid engough to buy such dirvle..........................what other famous, and not so famous anime has been done live action? peresonally I would to seen them try Trigun or Ranma live action. |

I'm liking what I see so far. (Yes, I am a Sailor Moon fan.) Promos and whatnot are available at http://www.genvid.com/. The latest one has SM's transformation, which some people don't like but I think it was handled pretty well. (It could have been a LOT worse.)

I have now lost alot of trust in humanity. Well, I know one thing for sure: I ain't watching it.
Edit: I've seen the anime series of Sailor Moon and hated it just like I've always hated Barbie and all the other pink/Dee Dee/unicorn stereotypical trash. |
