Finally, been waiting way too long for Mr Mini Mart, looks like October 8th. Glad to see Tyrant Falls in Love coming out of hiatus, hopefully the previous volumes will go back into prit for a short while.

Furthermore, some series that were put on hiatus will be returning to production, including Ai no Kusabi Vol. 8, The Tyrant Falls in Love Vol. 8, and ZE Vol. 7. New print-only titles in the June line include Deadlock Vol. 1, Mr. Mini Mart, and Does the Flower Blossom? Vols. 1-3.

Perhaps it won't happen, but the title I want to see being continued is Knights, about a black-skinned rogue knight who saves accused people from witch burnings and dwells on themes of religious paranoia, from the author that did the manga version of Burst Angel. It's just too good and intriguing to not continue.

Because of these recent successes, Digital Manga Publishing has formed a partnership with Tezuka Production to release all of Osamu Tezuka's works digitally worldwide. This also includes digital rights to any Tezuka title that had been previously licensed for print through other publishers (e.g. Vertical).

Now that I think about it, the Astro Boy Weekly app for iPhone had chapters of both Phoenix (licensed for print by Viz) and Black Jack and Buddha (Vertical), so maybe the fact that DMP/Tezuka could pull together all the digital rights shouldn't seem as surprising as it initially does.

At this point DMP does not plan to license any new titles for the rest of the year.

Does anyone know if that includes new volumes that are just now being released in Japan for series they've already printed? Like Finder 7? I hope not...

I would think that since it says "new titles" they mean new series, so new volumes of current titles should still see releases.
