I really wish someone would release Macross F over here, even if it's sub only. I'd buy it. Razz Of course, the more time passes, the more companies are reluctant . . .

It's really too bad they could not find the wherewithal to put English subs on this, I'd buy the heck out of it.

Looks nice but no English sub means no buy for me.

wherewithall to subtitle prolly isn't the problem... it may well be that even potential importation with english subs is covered by whatever dark umbrella is keeping any Macross from coming here. Or they figure that not that many more people would import it at the price, even if it was subbed. Or they just don't care, since we are not their big market. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'll prolly do it just to have... it is one of the few things I would ever spend so much money on like that.

IF you know the property THEN you should know that you will never see a sub, as long as the contracts are forever tangled.

The question is: is it worth it to you to have? Is it worth it to you to pay back, as direct as we ever will be able to... the people who brought you the show? I presume you wouldn't even know about it, if you hadn't seen it in some fashion. How will you tell them that they have a following, even here?

I would presume that the publishers might eventually find out how many were bought form overseas... or maybe not.

Even if I have to watch it without fully understanding what is said... I want to be able to see it BIG and in BluRay. Because I like it that much.

I bought the BD singles more or less as they were released, but I'd consider buying a BD box if it were to have English subtitles...
