So mad because of car trouble I missed the movie premiere in SF, now to add insult to injury I said ok maybe I'll check amazon jp a few hours before this article came out and a few other sites. And guess what no english subtitles on this release.

I can understand enough japanese to watch it raw but I ain't importing a movie at those prices with no subtitles. They just lost a sale and now I'll just download it.

Maybe the HK DVD or BD release will have English subtitles. I imported the live-action Thermae Romae, ParaKiss, and the recent Girl Who Leapt Through Time BDs, and was quite happy with them.

I saw the second LW screening in SF, yesterday. It wasn't great; it wasn't bad. I probably wouldn't have imported the Japanese release if it had subtitles (as the animated Library War(s?) movie had), but I might consider purchasing a cheaper release.

Wings of Revolution has English subtitles for its release? Huh, I may have to get that then. Really enjoyed that movie. Wish someone would license the TV anime.

Buy it where ever you like, but just for the info, here are the CD Japan listings: Reg. Edition and Limited Edition. It was released in January. I got my LE from Amazon...
