I hope this means Killua will make it in as well. I haven't read the manga, but I'm loving the reboot Hunter X Hunter anime.

Oh, yes--I'd love Killua to be in it, too. And I'd be rather thrilled if Hiei could star in the game, as well. Both of those guys were veritable champions in Jump Ultimate Stars--and I'd like for that to persist here. But to temper my greediness, I should say that I'm very happy to see Yuusuke and Gon, indeed.
As regards series that have yet to make an appearance, I'm still holding out hope for a couple of my other personal favourites...though I can't imagine there's too much hankering for them in Japan. If only Houshin Engi had got that anime remake that was considered, a few years back--maybe Taikoubou wouldn't look so remote a possibility. At least Shaman King has enjoyed something of a resurgence, recently, making Yoh look not altogether impossible. If, as some have suggested, the game is still a ways off, then I suppose the roster could potentially be quite large--depending on how Jump/V-Jump space out their announcements--although I'm voicing that more to cover my bases than due to any real conviction on my behalf. Raoh, Hiei, Killua, Taikoubou, Yoh--those are the guys, most immediately, that I want to see in the game. If we got a good cross-section of those, I imagine I wouldn't need to do much more pleading, for it could intimate that the roster would be quite large and diverse, owed to the secondary nature of some of the characters and to the relatively lack of popularity concerning others. |

Aww yeah! Two of my favorite series are getting in. I'm importing this one for sure. Well, this and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Honestly, much as I'd love more YYH characters, I'm hoping to get just the lead heroes from as many series as possible to make a really unique line-up. So now that we got Kenshin and Yusuke, I'm even more excited than I already was, woot!
Hmm...I'm still holding a long-shot hope for Wingman making it in too. Or maybe Kid Muscle? As much as I'd hate to admit it, BoBoBo would make a curious addition too. |

In order to stay true to the manga, you can only use Gon for 3 months out of the year, 2 months if a new Dragon Quest game was released that year.
