Ah I.G, keeping the hand drawn tradition alive along with the other old school studios that still have actual money. Story sounds like it has a lot of potential too.

Pretty solid staff behind this project. Considering its link with history and current events, I look forward to seeing how the story is developed.

Define "hand drawn". Does it mean they will be using cells? Or will it still be digital, but they won't use the digital cheats, all mecha and effects will be hand drawn?

Most likely the latter, color things digitally but not use any CG.Like redline for example.
