When I first heard this would be a new Phantasy Star game that would have single player, I got my hopes up it might be a revival of the old Genesis series (the Online games killed the franchise in my eyes). But now it sounds like its just another dumb Monster Hunter clone, so there goes my hype.

Im still waiting for episode 3 of universe, which as far as I can tell was released as online only even in Japan with no physical release.

I'm a solo offline player who is a fan of both the Star Ocean and the classic Phantasy Star games series and I want new single-player campaign installments of each, but I suspect this game won't satisfy me either way, not that I have a Vita to play it on.
