Man, the first part of that video looks so much better than the 2nd part.

Excellent. Looks like this could be quite the beautiful show. Aniplex will surely give it a deserving home release!

From the popular cast and staff, it won't be surprising for Aniplex to apply a Daisuki exclusivity for a while to this title.

Ditto! I hope the show has a Durarara feel to it with multiple lives becoming intertwined through coincidence. I look forward to more previews and information.

It's always hilarious how Anixplex America = Doom. Though it's kind of true. I actually bought the Japanese version of the first Blu-ray of Servant x Service because I can't stand Aniplex US's absurd prices.

Wouldn't even say its the price, personally.

I was really excited to see Blast of Tempest get an R1 release and a dub. But what's that? You're telling me a show that good gets a DVD release and SUB ONLY?

Not to mention Vivired getting an R1 release on DVD when the show looks so good in HD. I didn't even enjoy the show THAT much but I would gladly buy an English Blu-Ray for it, especially if it had a dub like Strike Witches (which I surprisingly enjoyed if not for how the dub makes the premise so much more enjoyable.)

I think what frustrates me about Aniplex is just the unpredictability. There's no consistent pattern or release model. I feel like it is extremely hard to make a decision about whether to buy something. Like, I still haven't actually bought Blast of Tempest even though I like that show. Because while $60 x 2 is above average (especially for a sup only DVD) it isn't so out of the question. But I don't know. Will there be a dub at some later point?

Anyway, I feel very excited for this show. Not to get ahead of myself but it just might be one that I would pay $150-200 for. So hopefully we get one of those releases and not a $400+ import.

I agree on the unpredictablity. They should always do Blu-ray. Keep the price high if they need to but we should have a go at the better product from day one. I'm not doing the same thing I did with Oreimo over and over. Vividred should be a BD from the start. Push the release date to after the final Japanese disc.

I definitely agree, but I might also have considered a DVD release full-equipped with extras (I might have said so already back up the thread, or maybe that was elsewhere).

The final Vividred BD came out last month.

For shows like Oreshura and Vividred, I think they'll take the Oreimo route. They'll only offer the DVD version initially then later the Japanese BD import when the BD box set releases.

The only exception to seems to be those that have enough hype like *monogatari franchise so far, but there is still a significant delay between the JP BD release and the US BD release.

Yep, I'm sure you'd think that.
