How can they do that? I mean the final film isn't even coming out for the next few years..

They rushed it a year ago by making the eva 02 beta figure, and they messed up the left arm. It's because they modeled it after a 1min long trailer.

This time they are modeling this figure after a 15sec preview??!! Thats retarded. None of the scenes at the end of 2.22 during the preview made it into 3.0....so there is a very high chance that this thing won't even be in the final movie....and even if it is, it will have a diff design than in the preview....

Im really sick of them rushing these figures, then either re-releasing them or throwing proper replacement arms with other figures that some people might not even want Mad

This is Evangelion, they have been spinning out Rei and Asuka based figures that had them in Kimonos, Race girl cosplay, bunny girl cosplay, and various other non canon costumes.
In comparison there is a big gap in Eva unit figures, and for some collectors maybe they just want robots and shun "cute girl" figures for there personal taste.

Maybe look at it this way, the figures are MEANT to represent what was in the trailer. What else besides Evangelion has toy based on the trailer only? Rolling Eyes

I always liked how they had figures for different seasons - winter Rei and Asuka; autumn Rei and Asuka... when the series established that Japan has been stuck in an endless spring since Second Impact.
