As much as I love Yaoi I do draw the line at cross dressing (unless it's a serious series like Wandering Son which is easily in my top 10 manga), I've got nothing against it but it's just not my cup of tea.

I wonder how many countries this will be banned in. Wink Laughing

Nitpick: this book is aimed at guys, so it's not yaoi (yaoi is for female readers, by definition). It's guy-on-guy "otokonoko".

I think this is the sequel to My Cute Crossdresser, and from what I've seen of the original serialization it'll also be stuff that could easily have been labelled as 16+; crossdressing romantic hijinks with a fair amount of fanservice but no actual sex or full nudity. The first volume was cute, though, so I'll probably pick this up.

Not that that's going to keep fangirls away from this at all Laughing

I guess not, if that's what they want. A lot of otokonoko stuff is basically just drawing the boy character as a flat girl and giving them male genitals, there's really nothing else to differentiate their gender identity from that of a woman. I have noticed a few female artists who do this genre, but it's definitely aimed at men.

If only other books and shows outside of Japan had names that explained its synopsis Laughing

I'll have to see what this is like though considering this is the first time I've heard of this and I do have a penchant for traps.

Oh sure; like I said I'm planning to get it myself. Smile But us fangirls aren't the target audience: this kind of stuff looks and feels like an ecchi shonen rom-com, because that's exactly what it is -- just with 100% fewer girls. If you're actually looking for a shoujo/BL esthetic with added crossdressers, you won't get it (try Issuisya's Josou no Ouji-sama anthology instead.)

Hurray! \(^o^)/ About time this got out! I've been waiting for more trap manga to get licensed and Matsumoto Mitohi is one of the best.

Trap manga, ShatteredWorld. Trap manga. First US release was a few years ago. Get with the program already!

It's not yaoi really. It's main demographic is for guys. Basically, people that like the peculiarity of Hideyoshi from Baka to Test, or Ruka from Steins;Gate. I bought the first one and as a guy, I can say that I for one loved it.

If you like traps, then you'll love it. You might want to try the first one, available in bookstores and Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/My-Cute-Crossdresser-Hentai-Manga/dp/1934129585/ref=sr_1_1

And don't let the 18+ label fool you guys. There's lots of fanservice, but it's "All Age OK" in Japan.
