Seeing Gatchaman is a real hoot (I haven't seen this series since it was Battle of the Planets back in the late '70s). I forgot why this show was so fun and why I loved it as a kid.*

*Yes, I did nothing but carbon-date myself in this post.

I know ADV has re-dubbed the OVAs for this set, but have they mentioned whether or not the original dub will be included too?

You would have to email Sentai or Section 23 for confirmation, but the chances are probably good. The only way they probably wouldn't include it, is if Tatsunoko didn't include it in the materials or if Urban Vision still owned it. So far, Sentai has been pretty good about including the original dubs when they are available.

Good grief, Gatchaman won't be that late, the replicator is just buried with holiday orders and the number of disks in the set has made delivery by the Oct 29th street date problematic. Amazon is just doing what they do and putting a lot of cushion in their release estimate. From what I'm hearing it shouldn't be more than a couple weeks late. Not enough for Sentai to change the official release date at this point.
