Went to go see this before this article was posted. I got in on the second screening on the premiere day. Very, very good adaptation of the game. And might I just say I win 10,000 yen for guessing that Aegis would appear after the credits?

I'm rather interested in seeing these films eventually, but I'm not familiar with the games they are based on. Is the first one adapted in such a way that a Persona 3 noob can follow along?

This is just my personal opinion, but I think you will be just fine. It's very straight-forward and doesn't jump around too much. It probably will inspire you to play the game, so watch out! ;D
