Dunno why it's not in the article, but there's a new key visual on the site as well.

Great to see Taku Takahashi contributing to the music.
I think we all knew Yoko Kanno was going to be working on it too.

Looking at the key visual, I noticed a giant robot in the background that looks a lot like Ideon. X3

Not too sure what I think about the MC's seiyuu, I can't recall having heard much of him before, but I guess we'll see (or rather, hear!) when it finally airs Very Happy .

Theres a lot of people working on this for a show that will likely bomb in Japan. They must really have high hopes for it making them a lot of money in America..

Holy damn even lazy Goro Taniguchi is working on this along with buddy Ichiro Okouchi, there are also talented people like Atsushi Takahashi,Hiroshi Hamasaki,Michio Mihara and JESUS CHRIST I didn't expect this but Katsuhiro Otomo is on board.
One of the writers Toh Enjoe, seems to be very fascinating fellow. From reading his wikiepedia page his stories seem to be weird and impenetrable,I am wondering what his contribution will look like.
I hope that someday we will find out how the hell have they created this anime.

Makes me think of Cowboy Bebop mixed with Crusher Joe.

I'm more surprised you don't know him. He's quite popular.

Ah, I hear you. As much as I'm glad that a show like this is being made in current circumstances, I can't help but feel they're taking a HUGE gamble on this. At the very least, I hope it at least sells 4k.

It looks a fair amount like Bebop to me as well ... which for me isn't really a big selling point. But we'll see how it turns out, definitely worth checking out an episode or two.

Shinichiro Watanabe, Keiko Nobumoto, Yoko Kanno, Goro Taniguchi and FREAKING KATSUHIRO OTOMO are all working on this show.

The hype for this show is further through the roof than Kill la Kill at this point, at least for me.

I'd say it's just Cobra with some new designs. I really hope it's nothing like Bebop, since FUNi and Adult Swim already want to sell it as Cowboy Bebop 2: "from those guys who won't even bother to name who made that anime you can't goddamn get over yet". As long as no one unironically thinks it's going to "save anime", I suppose the hype is fine. I'm looking forward to seeing some wacky space adventures!

No offense, but if you truly haven't heard much of Junichi Suwabe you either haven't watched that much anime for the last 10 years or you don't really pay attention to seiyuu to begin with

Cobra ? Not with some good looking female ass in there. Laughing
It looks much more like a reimagined Crusher Joe Series.

Personally I dont see comparisons with either Cobra or Crusher Joe,all of those shows despite humor in them took themselves seriously,Space Dandy is a complete parody. Also knowing Watanabe,I wouldnt be surprised if he was influenced more by stuff like Barbarella rather than Cobra.

Junichi Suwabe was Greed in the first Fullmetal Alchemist TV series (and nailed that role). I'm pretty psyched to see him take the lead in an interesting looking show like this.
