Canon?
I'm thinking they'll be broadening the instances of his past right before spoiler[Obito's] mask came off. Canon or not, this is unnecessary in my opinion. |

This seems like an anime-only deal. It is weird for a long running shonen manga to fill in major character's backstories via its anime, so I wonder how canon it'll be. If Kishimoto is involved in the script or concept, it is, if not, than I hope it'll at least be entertaining.

Nope as that should be animated by early January at the latest (more likely this month though, Episode 343 "Who the Hell Are You!!" December 19, 2013 and that reveal will be episode after) unless Naruto goes on break for 2 months. |
