That RAH Homura was cool, they got the face and clothing bang-on perfect. But the 1/6 Harlock from Hot Toys was so epic I almost thought it was a real person (cosplaying as Harlock) sitting on the throne; the face is that ridiculously realistic.
Glad you could review at least one item from the RAH line.I had to laugh at the penguin stands. The dress looks fantastic, though it would have been better had they used wire to puff it out as you suggested. With a figure that big and expensive fidelity to the anime is important, ya know? |

That face is terrifying.
I do own the RAH Alphonse Elric and the main reason I bought it besides the fact that I love Fullmetal Alchemist is that it was 50% off (and the last in Big Bad Toy Store's inventory apparently) and its limited joints are stiff, I feel like I'm going to break it if I fiddle with it too much. It's gorgeously painted and the fabric (what little there is) is nice. I don't know how nice human figures are so I doubt my opinion is that great but I'm not chipping $300 for a single figurine no matter how nice it is. Then again, I've blown that much on Perfect Grade Gundam models before... Otherwise that's my opinion and I'll wait for the next one I like to go on sale. That's my opinion but great and informative review David. Anywho, I leave a link to the selection Big Bad Toy Store has on Medicom's products (which I have bought from and have been very satisfied with) and be off. |

Oh man, Mandarake... so much stuff I want there. I got all 3 of my Figuarts there, for less than half of what everyone else was charging for them.

I like the last post. I'm surprised that you can do that. But that scream face is the worse. It's so downright scary.

A neat-looking figure! I admit, I think in this case I'd prefer something to emulate the cartoon magic of her skirt-thing better, but I love the vest.
Also, I think what's going on with the remaining penguin (Shouma's?), that isn't used for her stand, is that it's leaning over to press the button that will open the trapdoor and send Shouma to his doom? |
