I wasn't expecting the fandisc to ever get an anime, it lacks any sort of drama plot and it's pretty much slice of life and serves as a game that Mayuri's story is the true ending instead of Kurisu's.

I'm interested in how they'll adapt this since there's a lot of content and you'd need at least 3-5 episodes a route to really faithfully adapt the story.

Perhaps not the spinoff I would want them to adapt (though i see why they are, its an obvious money maker).

I would hope this is a continuing trend and we might see more spinoffs or OVAs for some of the cool side stories out there for steins;gate.

I would love to see an OVA for the Gamma Drama CD.

If Steins;Gate really wants to get its Carnival Phantasm in anime form, I'm fine with it. This franchise did so much already that anything else they could do with it is gravy.

Not that I wouldn't be against them taking a chance with the franchise on a new direction...

Would be interesting to see Hiyoku Renri no Darling as an anime since the game is only in Japan.

I'm personally looking forward to when the Steins;Gate live action movie eventually happens. With how hugely successful the series is, I predict that we'll definitely hear an official announcement in the near-future.

There was a live action stage show last year, all of the true ending route can be found up on youtube.

ngl the stage show wasn't the best, they cut a lot to fit it in under 2 and a half hours and Kurisu's actress didn't really come close to how Asami Imai pulled off the role.

I know about the play, but that's not a movie. And if they want to fit everything in, I wouldn't mind seeing it split up into two or three films.

They could barely pull off the stage show, no offense but it's not suited for live action. The same thing with the R;N stage show, it wasn't very good and it just doesn't work in a 3d medium.
