Not an Anno\Gainax fan, but yes I would watch this just for the wonderful Megumi Hayashibara. <_<

I just got the manga, and it's very funny. Looking forward to the anime!

(Is it just me, or do a lot of manga that Vertical license get anime announcements afterwards? Flowers of Evil, Knights of Sidonia, Insufficient Direction...)

Am I supposed to assume that "Rompers" is that baby?

Manga authors do that a lot. Hiromu Arakawa depicts herself as a cow.

Also, if by chance we ever get this on DVD here, the only dude who should play Anno in the dub is the actor who gave us The Comic Book Guy on The Simpsons. Cool

Having both Japanese and English version Insufficient Direction manga, I never thought they would make it into animation.
