Its either Kougami can persuade his old mates to overthrow Sybil or Kougami will be the new anti-hero...
However, the latter seems too far-fetched... Introducing a new villains seems too much of a generic formula. |

Sweet! I hope this second season is as well made as the first season. Unless the next Madoka Magica season premiers this year, Psycho-Pass 02 has become my most anticipated anime of 2014.
Two things from the article. If season 2 is airing this October, is it not the film opening next Winter as opposed to this Winter? In the last paragraph it says that the original Psycho-Pass premiered last year, but it premiered on October 2012. |

You might want to put a brief warning at the beginning of the article, as that trailer contains a massive spoiler for people who haven't finished the first season.
Anyways... I wonder if this is gonna be the same events from the perspective of a different character, given that they're calling it a "Restart". It's gonna be hard to make a villain that tops Makishima. |

The way they edited the teaser trailer for Season 2, makes me wonder whether spoiler[Kougami allowed Makishima to survive at the end, and the scene where Kougami and Makishima was riding in the same car in the second OP did happen, only after the events of the final episode.]
Anyway, the first season did have an open-ending, which leaves a lot potential for future projects. Hope Urobuchi will return to write the 2nd season and the movie (though I guess chances are, the other series composer of the 1st season might take the lead this round). Kougami isn't the main character of Psycho-pass xD Or rather, Kougami isn't the protagonist, Akane is - Kougami is more the duotagonist despite being so central to the plot. So I imagine the plot will continue to focus on Akane and her interactions with Kougami, rather than Kougami himself. |
