Look, Crunchyroll, why don't you just go ahead and announce what anime you won't be streaming next season. I mean, I'm pretty sure that would be quicker.

Seconded. They were practically covering almost 75% of this season's titles. It's really annoying that CR announces this late causing some legit fansub group to backed out...

Not surprised but this makes it easier for me to watch it.

Not really sure what you mean by "late" here. Crunchy generally announces their stream no more than a couple days before it airs, and this one was announced around 20 hours prior.

I'm also wondering why did you not understand what I mean. If you mean 20 hours then fyi, fansub groups announces their picks a week or at worst, days before airing. We're not talking about hours here. Because of the CR announcement, in some cases, the picks of these fansub groups are getting nulled because of course, CR provides the faster TL, distribution and everything.

But that's only fair as Crunchy has paid to stream this.

I'm going into this one blind so hoping it's a good'n.

Why you'd almost think Crunchyroll was some kind of legit business that had to actually work with the Japanese companies and arrange licenses for the shows they stream instead of just declaring "Here's what we've decided to illegally post this season" weeks ahead of time or whenever else they please.

Oh boo-hoo the poor fansub groups. Rolling Eyes Yes, I know that there's a world outside of the US which isn't as well served by streams *points to location* but I actually respect those fansubbers for deciding not to work on a series that's getting a stream. Kind of goes back to the original philosophy of fansubs: make series available which wouldn't otherwise be.

There's always going to be people who rip the streams anyway...
