At least they're promoting the heck out of thing. Been seeing commercials all over TV.

They have to, because it's competing against that X-Men time traveling movie.

I think it will be a good film. Very Happy

But it won't be All You Need is Kill Which is what I was hoping to see. Crying or Very sad

Not to be confused with Isaac Asimov's book The Edge of Tomorrow.

My girlfriend tells me that this movie is ripping off "Evangelion" where Kaworu keeps coming back from the dead.

Yeah, that's really sad. I've only read the manga version (started the novel but either the translation was too stiff/Americanized or the real text was kinda boring in the beginning so I chose the manga) but I understand that some of the concepts of the original story are Japanese-only. Still they've chage the plot and characters quite a bit.
Still going to check this out though.

Mr: Ladies don't like the title, and Warner probably doesn't wanna get sued over similarities to a certain Beatles song.

Gilles: It's possible they own the movie rights to it.

revolution: Tell her Evangelion's already a rip-off. Also, it's more likely inspired by The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

Or the two soap operas, "The 'Edge of' Night", and "Search for 'Tomorrow'". Laughing

Huh, I always think of Groundhog Day when I see one of these trailers. Laughing
