5 volumes of AoT manga in top 10? This is obviously due to the anime premier on Toonami. Smile 1st Volume of AoT for me next month. Smile

Perhaps the spike to #3 for the first AoT volume was because of the video TheFineBros did?

I don't think that's the big reason for it. Probably due to lots of advertising from Funimation.

I also would lean towards it being from Funi ads and Toonami. Given the popularity of many YouTube channels and their viral video (even if its a potentially boring video), TheFineBros might have a small factor.

It was this way well before it started on Toonami

That video has 3 million views, Toonami gets about a third of that, right?

If you assume Nielsen's half-assed metrics to be anywhere close to accurate I suppose.

Can you estimate number of viewings of youtube video in 30 minutes (about same time-frame as AoT on Toonami from 11:30 pm - 12:00 am)? That video's been up for 24/7. You really can't compare those two.

Also, there are alot more viewers without neilsen in addition to those that have neilsen.

I just wonder what the numbers on a volume that stays number one for three weeks is? Still happy to see something that didn't seem like more than a niche title.

Sell well but than again Dance In The Vampire Bund sold really well too and I don't think anyone saw that coming either.

When a series like AoT or SAO is this popular, I think it's great that it keeps companies in business.
