Here's hoping for the best with this adaptation. I've heard a lotta good things about the games, so I've got fingers crossed that this is a more faithful rendition than some BL games have gotten.

Not usually a BL fan but I am interested in this because it seems super popular on My Figure Collection. And when something is popular before an anime comes out you take notice.

I'm pretty sure they did take out all the BL, it's listed everywhere as action/sci-fi. Not impressed.

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the DRAMAtical Murder anime being adapted from a BL VN? Wouldn't removing the BL part kind of defeat the purpose of calling it a BL anime...? Not to mention destroying a large part of the spirit of the original work? I'm just confused how you can remove the BL from a BL adaptation...

I hope they took out all the gay scenes, like I've heard through rumors. Seems the story is decent.

Another BL series to add to the upcoming releases.
After reading the above comments I will be annoyed if the removed the BL out of this series. I don't know anything about DRAMAtical Murder but it does annoy me how few serious series there are, that fall into action or sci-fi, which have a gay lead. The only one I can think of is No.6 which is a glorious series, though there are probably a few more that I am unaware of. |

To everyone commenting in this thread wondering whether or not they will "take out the BL scenes", they will, or else this would be a hentai series. I played the game, there is barely any BL in the game aside from the forced in hentai scenes. So the only BL they could adapt would be the sex scenes; obviously they won't put that in a regular tv broadcast show.

No. Just because something is BL doesn't mean its all about sex scenes. I don't see how it would a be a problem for them to adapt the game keeping its action/scifi story and its BL romance intact. Obviously you had issues with the BL romance in it but others, myself included, want that aspect kept. That being said, I think the trailer looks pretty okay and confusing. I expected that, it's a game adaptation after all. The voice actors all sound great though and I like the music. I got to say, it cracks me up the dog has a super masculine voice but that probably has something to do with it turning into a (I'm assuming since his face is covered) hot dude in the cyber realm or whatever that was.
