I'v seen this movie and it really wasn't that good.

I mean, it held my attention during the span of time I did watch it, but, after it, I was left just wondering why I wasted the time.

As a Mark Dacascos fan, I was really disappointed by it. As a anime/manga fan, I was also let down (Even though I heard the movie pretty much followed the plot to a "T", it still sucked).

My advice to everyone: If you wanna see a very great movie look somewhere else. However, if you're a Crying Freeman fan, this is right up your alley, isn't it? Very Happy

The movie was unfortunately based on really horrible material. Crying Freeman devolved from an interesting concept, to a really bad Action / Porn without enough porn. Honestly, the Crying Freeman manga is in my opinion nothing but bad porn, what other genre features unexplainable, pointless and explicit (although censored) sex scenes between people who are supposed to be trying to kill each other?

The first volume was passable, the rest is crap. The artist (Ryoichi Ikegami) went on to do great work on numerous titles like Sanctuary and Strain, but his talent was really wasted drawing Kazuo Koike's horrible story.

Speaking of Koike, am I among the minority who couldn't get into Lone Wolf and Cub? Anyway, thanks for finally posting it.
