This is maybe because I am a guy, but I am not a lover of anime romance. I think that there is little imaginative in the art of drawing if all you do is painting a tired love triangle stories. The pencil of an animator is given to him/her to draw worlds and things that can not be created just by hiring a bunch of soap opera actors and shooting it on cheap video camera. Even if an anime project is melodrama, it has to be drawn in a creative way.
