Surprisingly, I actually kinda like the character designs. The visual looks alright I guess.

I like the designs, and the powers are quite unique as well. Although the MC's power sounds a little odd. I imagine it will be played for laughs. I'm actually looking forward to this!

While Triggers name attached to something usually fills me with dread this actually doesn't look utterly terrible! I'm looking forward to this because it's based on a LN I'm interested in and having source material reduces the chance they will mess it up. Just hope they can pull it off and have a decent budget.

I'm seeing the WUGs as VAs all over the place this season, looks like Fall is no different and it's nice to see them get more roles and not be one trick ponies.

The art style looks like Black Bullet's... :S The male lead looks pretty cute though. I will consider watching this.

Aw, shoot. These designs don't look at all similar to the art featured in the AX poster, the style seems to mimic the popular modern LN sort of character styling (which I find terribly generic, and maybe even a little annoying). It's unfortunate, Trigger had been knocking every one of their series out of the park for me so far, but it looks like I might have to pass on this one.

Sounds interesting. Must say, Chifuyu and Hatoko sound...incredibly powerful.

Wait, what did that poster look like? Are you talking about the one with a bunch of Trigger's characters on it? I feel kind of the same, The artist at the studio seem to have a style I really love and I was at least hoping to see something in the character designs. Just seeing the picture displayed here initially had me groaning and was something of a downer for me.

Since then however I got over it and cooled my head. Trigger made a gambit with Kill la Kill and it worked so now they need to keep busy to stabilize as a studio. Besides, even if I like their styles It's probably better if it's not used so often to the point where it stops being appealing.

That said, the poster does look nice and it makes me wonder how much the budget will be for it over all. Seeing chapter 1 for myself, I can say that it wasn't anything too special, but I did like the main male character (to whom I'm VERY happy to see get Accel and Rin's Seiyuu) and female character's interactions. It's like a role reversed
chunnibyou with the guy pretty much with DARK FLAME MASTER mode turned on all the time. The down side is that none of the other female characters were really that entertaining, but since it was only 1 chapter, I'm willing to see more than one episode for when it comes out to see how they all fare. I'm pretty cautiously curious all in all.

Am I the only one who thinks the guy got shafted? Wow he controls dark flame and he needs to rely on a water bottle.

The girls on the other hand have really broken abilities, time manipulation, nature manipulation (which I assume would include fire), ability to make things go to nothing, etc.
