I really don't get how Ninja Theory stays around. I mean, Heavenly Sword was nothing but hype (remember how it was going to be a big deal and people went nuts for it then forgot all about it?), Enslaved was generic, and DmC was just... blech.

Kudos for the developers still having work, but we're stuck with their mediocre products. Good thing I can just ignore it...

I can understand if it's unwarranted before DmC incident. Now it's totally warranted. I can't give them the ounce of respect now they are willing to stoop to the levels of trolls. If you are just an average developer, at least have some dignity on your part. So far, I feel their attempt cringeworthy trying so hard to remain "cool and treny". And why 3rd person action especially they have the proof that they are not exactly talented at the genre not to mention hardly no profit gain. If I were them, I'd have a dig at the other genres.

That's cool. Heavenly Sword is a very underrated game. Not great but very solid. I'd totally play a pseudo-sequel which is basically what this seems like. Mind you, this is nothing but a promo movie with basically nothing of the actual game. Still, I'm cautiously optimistic.

Yup, I really liked Heavenly Sword, and the art style is looking really good. I'm up for a pseudo-sequel and they've gotten some good experience since they made HS.

Yeah, during the trailer I definitely thought it easily could have been Kai when we first see her, but yeah varmintx, there's probably no way they'd be able to use Kai in a multiplat.

I think what really got me about the whole DmC thing was that nobody in the media ever criticized NT. In fact, they wore kid gloves with them even when idiots like Tam Tam kept digging themselves into a hole and making increasingly unprofessional comments. And then the game came out and was filled with rampant misogyny, sexism, and stupid writing. And nobody said ANYTHING about it.

Usually stuff like the sniper rifle abortion scene would be dogpiled by journalists but they seemed to ignore it or give it a pass. It just baffles me. Are they afraid of hurting NT's feelings or something? It's just weird. Plus you'd think they'd white knight for a company that's actually talented instead of NT.
