Ah Goose House..

I like the song in that CM tbh. Now I'm even more hyped to see this show.

Very much looking forward to this anime. It seems to have potential to be something special. It would be amazing if this series turned out to be the next great slice of life anime, just like Anohana (another Aniplex produced and A1 Pictures animated anime) was.

Between this, Psycho Pass 2, Chaika 2 and the second half of Argevollen, Fall is shaping like a great anime season for me.

I'm glad for Goose House; I hoped the Silver Spoon song would give them more exposure. Smile

Yes.

Cool, was unsure if I was remembering this one being two cour or getting it confused with something else.

To those that have read the manga, is music a big focus in this series? I've never really been into anime with a large music focus, though I have seen stuff like White Album 1&2 and Kids on the Slope. So I do wonder if music wins over any SoL elements in this one.

But which gets more focus, music or the SoL elements? Cause, if it's music, then I probably won't take your advice. Razz

I think they're pretty well balanced in Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. There's a fair bit of music, but all the scenes with music are really about the characters. I don't know if I'd really call the series slice-of-life, but then people do seem to extend the term into what I'd be quite content to just call drama.

Ah, okay. I've found that when I've tried out a series that revolves around music (or sports), they lose my interest when that becomes the focus. Well, all I can do is give this show a try.

There's quite a lot of performance scenes, but it focuses on SOL/Drama/comedy more.
