My thoughts exactly, he probably thought KB will continue "forever" like One Piece or Jojo and he probably thought that after being released he would have bragging rights for harassing the author of a well known manga. Now, chances are that after he is released people will have already forgotten about it/will be into the next sports/BL manga )probably made by another author).

Woah he sounds extremely serious about killing himself. Chances are its going to happen. Are the police going to do anything?

I guess when he found out the manga is due to end, he decided to just swallow his pride and now wants to appeal conviction.

I don't like him for what he did in the past but I don't want him to lose his life either. He needs to get some help.

That's a doozy.

Doctor assisted suicide should be legal. This guy could have gotten exactly what he wanted in addition to the benefit of having his organs harvested for transplants and research. On top of that, like he said, one less person pulling stupid nonsense like he did ever again.
