Very curious to see what that new GiTS movie is going to be. Not sure whether I want it to be part of the SAC universe, or something entirely new. I do like the stand alone stuff in general.
Anyway, can't wait to get my hands on this last part. Part 3 just shipped for me today!

There's an error in the translation listed. On the part concerning the on-screen text, 電脳 means cyberbrain, not electric brain.
Also, it is Kurutsu, not Kurtz (as indicated on the official website). |

I am not sure, but it could be that the submarine maybe eluding to the original Manga's sequel, Ghost in the Shell 2: Man/Machine Interface. It's a stretch, but the 7th submarine was a ship that Motoko used as her home moble base in a future setting. They could be trying link up that stuff from the Man/Machine Interface since everything else is being retread/reimaged with exception of that. The submarine was 7th a series of high-tech submarines produced, but its existence was erased from the database of the nation that produced it. |
