I certainly hope Bryce gets teased mercilessly for using that pseudonym

Man, this show could have been so good. The premise sounded hilarious and the character designs are really cute, but I couldn't even make it through the whole thing.

yes it is. His dad used the name John Smallberries for few shows, so the name was already there, just added a 'Jr."

that's hilarious.

also, this is the fanservice show to watch, when you have watched all the other fanservice shows; you might as well just watch the highlights which are the labia scene, the ass scene if you are an ass guy and maybe one of the seduction scenes from the second season.

If you like harem shows about a hapless guy who gets beaten up for little-to-no reason, lots of breasts and bottoms, and panty shots galore...you probably still won't like this show.

...this may be the least encouraging description of a show I've ever seen. Laughing

I find it appropriate that Stephanie Sheh plays Haruka since she played another character that is representative of the 6 Realms: the female Pein
(Chikushōdō) in Shippuden.

What Rebecca says about the entire series isn't much different than what I said a few years ago about the first volume when it was coming out in singles. I opted not to continue watching it at that time, and I'm glad to see that I didn't miss much of anything.

For Bryce, this show gives Attack on Titan a different meaning.

I've read entire Manga version of this, it was far better from what i saw of the anime. Mainly the first season.

If this wasn't a poster child of not wanting english dubs, i don't know what is. I know they didn't have much to work with, I do get the feeling that the producers of the show conflicted with needing to censor / restrain it due to content of the manga. Manga is tame by today's standards of anime/manga fanservice but its better than animated show. I wish manga had continued, so it could have make better sense of the universe. It had humor, it was enjoyable. Not so much the anime though.

Thank you for reading my mind, Wrangler - I was just wondering if the manga was better. Smile I would imagine that it must be, given that the show was made in the first place.

maximillianjenus is right that the scenes to watch are in the second season, but I'd suggest hunting down the old single disc releases to watch...unless they're more expensive than this.

Just checked the prices on Amazon, and one is probably better off getting the complete collection than trying to buy the singles for the second season alone. Some aren't discounted much at all, and the ones that are still retain around half of their original retail price.

I would also recommended checking out Nozomi's YT page which is also streaming the show in both sub or dub formats. At least this way it doesn't cost any money.

actually the review is kinda harsh. if anyone can watch girls bravo, or even kodomo no jikan, you can definitely watch and have no problem with this series.

is it perfect? of course not. and of course i definitely didn't like changing the original name to suit the english dub version. its something that 4kids would do.

but the series is at least worth a rental shelf for the weekend. sure its no love hina or high school dxd but its definitely solid enough to rent from a friend.

besides. it's not perishable unlike knights of ramunes.
