I've only heard of Blue Exorcist, so the creator's name carries no weight with me. And, that lead to me not checking this out. But, I think that I may head out and get myself a copy. Astronerd sounds interesting enough for me to check out this collection of short stories,

Something I find interesting about Kazue Kato's one-shots are that, unlike most other authors, whose one-shots read like pilot episodes or transparent pitches, her one-shots are mostly stand-alone works. They feel complete after you finish reading them.

It speaks loads about her confidence (or her writing skill) that she writes in a way that does not come off as begging the reader of anything (except to contemplate).
